Qatar Attestation Canadian Work Documents
Similarly to the UAE, Qatar is a magnet for both personal and professional interests around the globe. Its dedication to building one of the most advanced infrastructures in the world has put in on the forefront of technology, education, and innovation in the middle east. 2019 is no different than other years, as thousands of Canadians will leave to work in Qatar and be a part of its astounding development. Whether it is to teach English in Qatar as a Canadian, pursue a degree at one of Qatar’s many prestigious international schools, or secure employment with a Qatari business, you will be requested to provide some documentation. The documents you will be asked to provide will depend entirely on your purposes. For employment or education you can expect to provide educational documents such as university degrees, college diplomas, high school diplomas, transcripts, and police checks. These will need to be authenticated and legalized for use in Qatar, the Canadian two-step process of validating documents for foreign use which is equal to Apostille and attestation. Most documents just mentioned already contain signatures that are valid for authentication at Global Affairs Canada. Once your documents have been authenticated by one of the agents at Global Affairs Canada, you can then present your documents to the embassy of Qatar for legalization. Qatar is one of the many countries which are very strict with their requirements. This is no surprise as they strive to create one of the highest quality educational and professional settings in the Arabian gulf. However, this can make it very difficult for the average person to process their Canadian documents for use in Qatar. Please note that the Embassy of Qatar in Ottawa recently changed their location. Below is their new address and their current contact information for your convenience.

Canada Authentication Legalization for Qatar Attestation
Since Global Affairs Canada can take up to 20 business days to authenticate your documents and the Qatar embassy in Ottawa has its own processing time and fees, authentication and legalization can easily take over a month to complete without assistance. This is simply not possible for many people as there are often deadlines that need to be met. Global Affairs Canada has also recently begun changing some requirements considering documents, which has further complicated the process for many people trying to go through this process from overseas. Thankfully, there is a way you can save up to 20 business days off your processing time and ensure that there are minimal errors and delays throughout the process: ALSC. We offer a same day priority authentication service wherein one of our agents personally presents your documents to Global Affairs Canada during their limited operating hours the same day your documents arrive in our office. Throughout the process we keep you updated on the progress of your documents and have agents available at all time during our business hours to answer your questions and concerns via phone or email. We were the first to provide this service in Canada and have served tens of thousands of clients over the past 25 years. The strong relationships we have built with the Qatar embassy and their staff as well as over 80 consulates and embassies around the country has allowed us to provide an unparalleled service to our clients. We are always up to date with changing requirements and fees and our agents who work personally with the Qatar embassy on your behalf are immediately able to resolve any issues which may arise. Please note that as with all embassies, there may be discrepancies in their processing times due to holidays, emergencies, renovations, and other such situations. Keep this in mind when processing your Canadian documents for use in Qatar or any other country. Embassy Legalization Service
Document legalization at the embassy consulate is the second step. Most will be able to legalize their document at an embassy in Ottawa. Others, due to government rules, will need to legalize their document at an embassy located outside of Ottawa. Country's that require outside Ottawa embassy legalization include: Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, El Salvador, Germany, Italy, Oman, Spain. For the UAE it will depend where your document was issued. The UAE Toronto consulate will only process documents from Toronto and Southern Ontario, while the UAE Embassy Ottawa will legalize documents issued from the rest of Ontario and all other provinces. Select the legalization service that applies to the country where you will be using your document. The estimated legalization processing time is in addition to the authentication time and will be provided upon the confirmation of your order as it varies per country and changes often. Make sure the number of documents you select for Legalization matches the amount of documents you need Authenticated.
