Updated January 14, 2021 – Current Processing Delays Due To Covid-19 Restrictions

No one likes unexpected delays and during these times they can come up often when dealing with the various foreign governments. To keep our clients up to speed the ALSC team is in close contact with them so you know whether there are delays in processing either at Global Affairs Canada or the Embassy.

Due to the new Ontario Covid-19 restrictions Global Affairs Canada is now only accepting documents 2 days a week with a limit on the amount of documents they will Authenticate. Although they are doing their best to accommodate us delays in processing are possible. The following countries Embassy Consulates are experiencing delays in Legalization processing times or temporary closures. If your country is listed be assured one of our team is working hard at having your document processed as quickly as possible with the Consulate Officer. We will update you on any status changes as we like to share good news with our clients when we get it.
